Unbelieveable – less than a year ago I bought a really cool TV. Full HD, Freesat, SD Card Reader, loads of connectivity and the Blu-ray player to top it all off! Now look – I understand the pace at which we develop technology these days is pretty phenominal, but announcing Super Hi Vision, at 16 times the 1920 by 1080 pixels that “Full HD” allows – this new tech will display at an incredible 7680-by-4320 pixels, less than a year after I bought my new super duper TV feels a bit like people are p*ssing on my parade!
The good news though is that they don’t expect to broadcast at this level for at least another 10 years, and maybe by then I’ll be able to convice Mrs. Mullan that we NEED Super Hi Vision!
