April, May June?

Where has this year gone, it’s almost July already – a time of sunshine, a time of family fun and laughter – a time for Parades, Bonefires, Riots and increasing tensions!  Wait, but it’s the new Utopian Northern Ireland we live in now – there’ll be none of that this year, thank you very much!

Sorry it’s been so long since my last blog – I can’t even say I’ve been rediculously busy – although I have had Easter, a trip to New York (highlight: sipping Ice Tea in Long Island 😉 ) a couple of bank holidays and The Patrician’s production of Oliver to take care of!

One thing I’ve come to realise over the past week is that as we get older (and we all are Stevie Kane!), the months seem to gel into each other – I’ve had a couple of friends get in touch over the past week and I couldn’t believe it had been so long since we’d spoken – not through a lack of trying, we just hadn’t.  What seems like not seeing someone for a few months at the most turns very quickly into “You do realise it’s been over a year!?”

Anyway – I’ll try to be better at this – here are a few of my personal highlights of 2007 so far:

Family Trip to Donegal Katie's 2nd Birthday

Trip to New York Parties get on with it

Smoking Ban in Public Spaces

  1. All right there mate!
I havent called in for a while but your right mate. All it takes is for a few weeks to turn into a few months and suddenly like you say its been a year. We do all get caught up in out own little worlds and its not really about being too bussy it just happens. God bless the internet. Even for those of us who only live up the road from each other it a handy way to keep in touch.
